Careful! Juice Vending Machines May Damage Your Health!

Nowadays, there is an increasing number of fresh juice vending machines all over the street. It’s petty bourgeois and thirst-quenching to buy a cup of orange juice. But recently over 200 cities, there are more than 800 fresh orange juice vending machines called “Angel Oranges”, exiting a huge risk which may harm our customers’ health！

In recent days, “Angel Oranges” received a huge fine, for breaking the Food Safety Law.

The reason is that the inner assembly unit of “Angel Oranges” juice vending machine contact with acidic food, and then damage customers’ health. 

Because the vending machine isn’t equipped with organic coatings for protection, there is a risk that metals will be released into the food and corroded by acid.

Excessive intake of metallic substances can cause poisoning. If aluminum deposits in the brain and skin, it will accelerate the body’s overall aging process, especially significantly reduce skin elasticity, wrinkles. 

It also has been found that the occurrence of Alzheimer’s disease recently is also related to the excessive intake of aluminum.

Fact

After the on-site verification and appraisal, the Shenzhen Market Inspection Bureaudetermined that the “upper and lower claws” of the “Angel Orange”, which is currently being squeezed by the party, has been exposed to orange juice food.

In order to certify whether the“upper and lower claws” contacts with orange juice or not. 

Shenzhen Market Inspection Bureau entrust a technical institution to verify claws, witnessed by law enforcement officials and relevant responsible person.

Specific method

• Squeeze 8 cups of orange juice from an operational vending machine
• Take off the“upper and lower claws”, paint with a brilliant blue colorant; after it has dried, reload to the machine
• Operate the machine and squeeze 8 cups of orange juice
• After composition analysis and comparison, there is a composition of brilliant blue colorant in the second cup

Result: claws contact with the juice.

• First, the staff applied black ink to the aluminum parts of the “upper and lower claws”, and put an orange in the squeeze, and the orange juice flowed out, but the ink did not penetrate
• Second, the results of the subsequent two tests are the same
• Third, the staff applied black ink to the whole claws, the orange juice wastinged with black this time

Result: aluminum part won’t contact with the juice.

There are completely contrasting results between these two cities. Anyway, there is no doubt for the risk that metals will be released into the food.
