Valentine’s Day may be over, but some stories are always worth sharing even days later.
On Feb 14th this past Thursday, a man and a woman squatted in the middle of a road in Hangzhou.
The man was only wearing underwear, while the woman had her underwear and a sweater on. They kept their head down, not minding all the traffic around them while squatting the entire time.
Not only that, but it was also raining and freezing cold… What the hell were they thinking?!
So what exactly happened to them?!!??!
When the police finally arrived, they approached the couple and asked why they were squatting in the middle of the road. The woman said she wanted to commit suicide.
“Why do you want to kill yourself?” asked one of the police officers.
“No why,” she answered confidently.
As the police tried to take both individuals into their car, a series of firetrucks drove past them.
The woman suddenly said, “My house is on fire! I need to go home!”
When she was asked how the fire had started, she said that it was probably because of a gas leak.
But then the man sneered and said: “That’s bulls**t, you used a lighter to start it yourself!
Their home was burning, and luckily the fire was extinguished before it could spread to other apartments.
But the whole situation is ridiculous…
The police eventually learned that the woman, 32 years old, has an unemployed 21-year-old boyfriend. They slept through the entire afternoon on Valentine’s Day.
When she woke up, she saw her young boyfriend play video games instead of planning a night out together.
Reacting out of anger, she lit a napkin on fire which then spread to their bed sheets!
Her boyfriend didn’t think of it and continued playing video games. She eventually calmed down, put the small fire out and both went out for a walk in the rain.
Out of nowhere, the woman started squatting down in the middle of the road, and her boyfriend followed up shortly after.
They did not expect the fire in their home to reignite… Both have been placed in criminal custody for intentionally starting a fire.
Weibo users lost their minds over what happened.
Some netizens said the household is so unfortunate to have these two weirdoes.
Many of those netizens also mentioned that, perhaps, each of those two individuals has a history of unfortunate experiences happening to them, and that they should both seek their own counseling.
Despite everything that happened, one Weibo user was more keen to ask what the game the boyfriend was playing was that it made him want to play it rather than going out with his girlfriend!
