Have you ever seen a 2,000RMB  coin?

On June 5, The People’s Bank of China will issue a set of gold and silver commemorative coins for the World Heritage (The Ancient City of Ping Yao in Shanxi Province).

This set of gold and silver commemorative coins includes 2 gold commemorative coins and 1 silver commemorative coin. 

The design on the front of the commemorative coins is the architectural model of Yingxun gate of Pingyao ancient city, the country name, and the year. The design on the back is the traditional architectural landscape of Pingyao ancient city. These are all legal tender of the People’s Republic of China.

Each coin contains 150g of pure gold and the country will only circulate 600 pieces. The value of the 150g round gold commemorative coin is 2,000 RMB.

In addition, the 100RMB coins made of 8g of pure gold will circulate 10,000 pieces. 

The design on the back is the architectural model of the hall of Zhenguo Monastery.

The 10rmb 30g pure silver commemorative coin will circulate a maximum of 20,000 pieces.

The 10RMB 30g pure silver commemorative coins will circulate a maximum of 20,000 pieces.
