Today, the GiC team would like to share 3 classic home-style salads that are simple to make and delicious to eat! 

老虎菜 Mixed vegetables

Ingredients:

Peppers, cucumbers, cilantro, carrots, scallions, garlic

Steps:

1. Rinse the bell pepper, remove seeds and cut into shreds. Rinse the cucumber and cut into shreds. Rinse the cilantro, peel the carrot and cut it into shreds. Rinse the scallion and cut this one into shreds as well. Peel your garlic and mince it.

2. Put the shredded bell peppers, cucumbers, cilantro, carrots and scallions into a container and add the appropriate amount of salt, chicken juice, flavor powder, vinegar, spicy oil, chili oil, sesame oil, and garlic powder. Stir well and serve!

凉拌藕片 Cold lotus roots

Ingredients:

Lotus root, green pepper, red pepper, agaric

Steps:

1. Peel the lotus root and wash it, then cut it into thick 1mm slices and rinse with water. Rinse the green pepper, remove the seeds and cut it into small pieces. Wash and remove the seeds and slice the red pepper. Soak the fungus in water, wait for about 10 minutes and then wash and tear it into small pieces.

2. Pour water into a pot, put a little salt and cooking oil and bring it to a boil. Then, blanch the lotus root slices and soak them with cold water in a basin. Drain the water and place the roots in another clean container. Add salt, chicken juice, soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, sesame oil, garlic as well as your sliced red pepper, green pepper, and black fungus. Mix and serve – voila!

麻将面筋 Spicy Gluten

Ingredients:

Gluten, sesame sauce, cucumber, agaric, carrot

Steps:

1. First, cut the fresh gluten into 4-square cubes of about 1cm in size.

Rinse and shred the cucumber, then rinse the fungus and tear it into small pieces. Peel and slice one carrot.

2. Add some salt, chicken juice, monosodium glutamate, old vinegar, soy sauce, chili oil, garlic powder, sesame oil, and a bit of cold water that you will have boiled beforehand, stir everything well, and add the sesame paste. Stir one more time and sprinkle your dish with a bit of cilantro before serving! That’s it!
